First, please introduce yourself!!

Hello everyone, I am Mayco from Taiwan. I am a student now and I’m going to Beijing next month as exchange student. The usual time of my daily life is going to school and I have a part time job at Starbucks. My favorite hobby is cooking at home^^.

I chose Borderless House for studying English.

Why did you choose Borderless Share House?

I found Borderless House from a 591 house rental website. At the beginning, I chose Borderless House for studying English, because I was preparing for TOEFL test. I thick I can improve my English by living with people who speaks English. By now I have stayed in Borderless House for about 9 months.

Not at all! I would rather know and enjoy cultural differences.

Before moving in Borderless House, what is your imagination or expectation of staying in Borderless House? After staying in Borderless House for a while, is the real life here in accord with your imagination or expectation?

Not at all! Nationality doesn’t mater for me, since it is an important part of personality. I would rather know and enjoy cultural differences.

I've got many good friends here.

What was the best part and the most impressive thing that happened during your stay in Borderless House?

The best part of staying in Borderless House which is I've got many good friends here. And the most impressive thing for me, which is, there is an opportunity that we all have time can travel together. We drove a car by ourselves from Taipei to Taroko National Park in Hualien. We stayed in a B&B there. This is the happiest memories for me.

The most difficult thing for me is needing to have a strong adaptability

On the other hand, is there anything which is difficult or tough for you to live in Borderless share house?

I already stayed here for almost 9 months and it is quite a long time, so I met a lot of people here. Because my housemates often change during a term, I have to keep trying to find a way to get along with new roommates or housemates. Consequently, the most difficult thing for me is needing to have a strong adaptability.

I have understood and knew more about different cultures during my stay!

Are you satisfied with your life in Borderless House so far? Do you learn anything from here?

So far so good. I learned some languages here. (A little English. A little Japanese and a little Korean lol) I also learned how to get along with others, especially for people who is from different backgrounds or nationalities. I have understood and knew more about different cultures during my stay in Borderless House. I think it is important for me and helpful for my future.

Treat your housemate as your family member.

Finally, what would you like to tell those who are thinking about moving in Borderless House?

I would like to give a small suggestion to who is thinking about moving in Borderless House, which is, after you move in a share house, please treat your housemate as your family member. Just keep it in mind, and you will be happy and relax every day also enjoy your stay in Borderless House.
